Swiss company Hydrovision is planning to build an underwater hotel and shopping center, worth an estimated RMB 2.5 billion, in Sanya's Xiaoyue Bay.The hotel will feature over 100 luxury suites, each with large glass windows and underwater views, a fitness and beauty care center, a library, a cigar club, a shopping center, and a submarine. That's right folks, a submarine.
Currentlly slated for construction approximately 500 - 1,000 meters from south Hainan coast, the hotel will consist of three floors above sea level and two floors under water. Four cabin decks will also be built around the hotel so that guests can enjoy the sea view.
