If you're thinking of visiting Sichuan or Shaanxi provinces—or visiting China's (in)famous Three Gorges Dam—you might want to wait.
The area has been slammed by heavy rains, landslides and flooding, with 13 people losing their lives to date and a massive flood surge in the Yangtze River putting an unprecedented amount of pressure on the world's largest dam.
As AFP reports, "State media reports said water levels in the river's upper reaches had already surpassed those of 1998, when more than 4,150 people were killed and 18 million evacuated in China's worst flooding in recent memory." Millions of residents have had to flee rising waters in recent weeks, and an unknown number in the hundreds have drowned.
Shaanxi and Sichaun have both become major China tourist destinations in recent years, boasting a wealth of historical and natural attractions.

I hope the people there get the help they need both from people and God as flooding is a serious thing. Also serious is to be lost without God in the world and dead in trespasses and in sins and on the way to hell. But God sent his Son , the Lord Jesus Christ to die on a cross for all our sins against God. Shedding his sinless blood as the full atonement for our sins against God. And then being buried,and rising from the dead the third day, and being seen of men , and going back up to heaven. And will take to heaven at death those who repent of their sins against God and trust Him as personal Saviour. For more info , HolyBible dot com , and fbn radio dot com. Sincerely ;
